You want bathroom curtains that look great and do the job properly. So how do you start deciding which curtain window treatments are right for you ?

What style of bathroom window curtains do you want?

Maybe you have a theme in mind already, if not then what about these styles. It may not be a complete bathrooms gallery of window treatments, but it's a good place to start:

Maybe you want some new unique shower curtains and bathroom accessoriesries. Just to breath new life into the bathroom. First thing to decide is the look will it be contemporary...lots of chrome finishes clean sleek lines. Tiled floors and walls. Rustic bathroom

Retro bathrooms

The retro bathroom theme is still a new one. You won't find many examples out there. The retro look has been done in most other rooms in the house. The trick here is to create something fresh and new without it looking dated and tired.

Nautical bathrooms

Try nautical window treatments to create bathroom curtains with a sea going or beech theme in your bathroom. Nautical curtains will set of the window style then add a nautical shower curtain to bring it together. Then finish of with a few nautical bathroom accessories to complete the theme.

Victorian style bathrooms

The victorian era was the start of the bathroom as we know it today. Only the wealthy at this time could afford to build a room like this. They often had high ceilings with tall windows that would be dressed with velvet victorian drapes. victorian window treatments were often made in silks as well. Polished dark wood was the order of the day with the sink built into a vanity unit. The center piece was usually a cast iron claw foot tub. Modern victorian style bathroom have an over bath shower fitting with an oval shower rod. Then you have victorian shower curtains to hang from it. So victorian curtains used in bathrooms were a really lavish affair, silk and velvets often tied back with tassel tie backs.

Black and white bathrooms

This color theme will create a really contemporary feel to any bathroom. Using a black shower curtain in a white bathroom will give you a crisp contrast. The same could work as well in reverse with a black tiled bathroom. Using a white fabric shower curtain to add some light releif. Adding white towels and using chrome curtain rods and shower rods will give this room an ultra slick look. Then finally black sheer bathroom curtains would give you privacy but still allow some light in the window.
