Casement windows with 8 ft. ceilings

I live on the lake and have large casement windows in 2 rooms (8'3" H x 7'8"). My ceilings are 8 ft. My floor plan is very open (can see all rooms from another).
What type of window treatment would you recommend? I presently have roman shades that are the same color as the walls. I do not need privacy, and do not want to cover or block the view.
I have attached a picture.
Hi Karen
Looking at your dining room if the color theme runs through the rest of your rooms. Then I would pick a fabric that would add a bit more life to your windows.
I think a rich red/burgundy fabric would go well with the furniture your have there. Just my opinion so don't worry if you prefer something else.
As to styles I think you could mix with roman shades in the kitchen. then curtains on a dark wooden pole in the dining room. you could have them to dress the window and tie them back with tassel tie backs.
So the same fabric with a mix of curtains and romans. The full length windows with curtains and the short windows with the roman shades.
Best regards
Lee
