A Goblet pleat curtains are a really classic way to dress your window and were common as victorian window treatments. So why are they called "goblet pleat" well it's because of the shape sewn into
the curtain header it's like a small Wine goblet glass.

Pelmet/Cornice
Panel Track
These Pelmet/Cornice are one of my favourites, I think they can suit any kind of home. It can all change with the fabric you choose. This one has a straight finish which ties in well with the fabric. The fabric runs across the pelmet and down the curtains.
You can easily make one yourself with this Custom pelmet/cornice Kit on Ebay. It's a simple and fast way to make one with no sewing.
This one has a small pelmet to cover the track. The panel track system has multiple tracks allowing several panels to pass each other. These are good on large windows but need space both sides for the panels to stack off the window.

Roman Shades
Grommet/Eyelets
Very simple and modern they give a clean uncluttered look to any room. These Roman shades are made in the
"cascading style". This simply means that each pleat down is a little deeper than the one above.

This kind of Eyelet/Grommet curtainscurtain works best in a modern room theme. They have rings cut into the top of the
curtain. this allows you to thread the rod through the top of the curtain. You can choose different

London shades are a great way to dress a window. They are a flat panel that gathers into relaxed pleats as it pulls up. They can be made lined or unlined and are
very simple to make. This example has two strips of special loop tape sewn down the back. The lift cords run through the loops and this creates the pleating effect when pulled up.
