Cutains and pelmet on a slanted ceiling

We are trying to decorate out nursery but are having problems with how to hang the curtains. The ceiling slopes from just below the picture rail.
I bought tab tops that my mum has altered so they're now taped but are still struggling to find a solution that doesn't end up with a huge gap at the top of the window which after having them lined with blackout fabric seems silly. Any suggestions would be welcome, thank you in advance Amy
Hi Amy
I'm struggling to completely understand how the wall slopes. I am assuming that the wall your track or pole is fixed to is curving away from the window. This making your curtains hang to far away from the window sill at the bottom.
If this is the case, then the only solution is to fit a second curtain pole 3/4 the way down your window and have the curtains hang behind . It will pull them back to the wall.
If this is not what you meant at all then sorry and please send me some more info and I will try again.
Best regards
Lee
