Dormer Window

Do dormer windows on a one story home need a window treatment? In our new Tulsa subdivision,some use them and some don't. I'm confused.

Hi Beverley

The question is not should a dormer window have a window treatment or not. It's all down to whether you either need one, for example a bedroom. or simply that you want to dress the window up. You may want to keep it all plain and simple. If so maybe just fit a white roller blind.

Another option if you feel like curtains is to use swing arm rods to hang your curtains. If not sure take a look at the link below.
