Eyelet curtains so contemporary
yet so simple !

Eyelet curtains are that little bit different, that special look.

Why are they called "eyelet"

They are called this because they have round holes cut out along the top. The curtains in the image are made with a buckram header( a 20cm wide strip of cardboard like fabric ). Then metal rings are pressed onto the buckram heading. This locks the rings on, whilst cutting out the fabric in the center.

So how do I hang them ?

Then all you have to do is thread your rod through the eyelets. Make sure you start with and end with the curtain edges pointing back towards the window.

I usually fit the brackets to the wall then put the curtain on the rod. Then put the rod with the curtain on up and into the brackets.

My little "Tip"

I personally don't recommend you drape this kind of curtain onto the floor. They hang better just clear of the floor. Click on image for larger picture

One final thing about these kind of curtains !

You can choose from various size eyelets to suit the thickness of your rod. From 15mm all the way up to 60mm. Plus plenty of colors to choose from.
