HOW DO I MAKE MY LIVING ROOM WINDOW APPEALING

I have an 80" wide, 54" long living room window. There are blinds already fitted. I am trying to use a pair of tab curtains (40"W 54"L) with a shag to compliment it, but just can't get it to look "right". Help!


Hi Christine

You have 2 ways to go with this. First way is to change your curtain rod for a double rod. The back rod would hold your tab top curtains and the front rod to hold your sheer swag.

Your second way is to keep the rod you have already but hang your sheer swag on swag holders. One fitted either side of you rod and one in the middle. These are fairly cheap to buy.

Just to give you a start on how to dress your curtains and swag I have put a couple of picture below for you to look at.






You will always struggle to hang the sheer swag on the same rod as your curtains.
