How many hooks for pencil pleat curtains?

The window is large dormer and the track is inside the dormer attached to the roof.When pulled back the curtain header is not neat - sort of drooping in places. I have hooks 2-3 holes apart. Would having a hook every other hole help keep the heading pright and neat ?

I know exactly what you mean. Unfortunately adding more hooks will help a little. The only problem you will have is that your curtains will not stack off your window as far as they do now.

The only thing you can do is to dress the tops of your curtains after opening them.

Another option would be to fit a small fabric covered pelmet over the window. I have photo that shows it better. I will upload it to this page later. So if you read this before I do that then check back.
