How to hang decorative curtains with uneven molding?

The window in our bedroom has a bay window above the middle doors and windows on either side. I want to hang decorative curtains just to the outside and little bit covering on each side, but do not need or want to be able to pull the curtains across the window.
However, I can't figure out where to place the rod, since the bay window part molding is a few inches lower than the molding on either of the side windows and a rod would then show as a line through the bay window. Since the curtains are decorative only, is there a way to mount rods only on either side? What is the best way to hang curtains in this case? Thank you!
Hi Jess
You just need to fit 2 short curtain rods over each side window. Don't go over the middle door section. Most curtain rods will be little too long. so you will need to cut them down to size. I would fit the rods a couple of inches over the window trim.
If you are to use a decorative curtain rod with finials on the end. I would probably choose a style that has small or flat end finials. The reason being is you don't wont the finials at the door ends of your rod to stick out into the glass area of your arch window. It would just look a bit odd.
