Inexpensive dorm window idea needed

I need to cover windows in my daughters dorm room that are glass block - so they let in light, which isn't good if she needs to sleep in daytime. They are also very wide - about 11 feet wide by 20' long. Up high enough that it has to be something she can reach to open and close easily. Any ideas?

Anything on windows that size are not going to be cheap. It may sound like an odd idea but what about using sleep eye covers to get the darkness your daughter need to sleep during the day.

Take a look at these one on ebay. They have some really snazzy ones.
