Kitchen curtain or blinds

I am seeking ideas on the type of curtain or blind suitable for a kitchen. the curtain or blind is not for privacy but for light and I would be happy with a splash of colour. Your ideas greatly appreciated, thank you WC

If light is the issue then a blind of some kind would be best.

Then you could add some color with a simple scarf swag over the top. To see some take a look at my Make scarf swags page. The blind can be wiped down easily and he scarf can be taken down and washed easily. So both are perfect for kitchen environments.
