Panel Curtains the comtemporary choice !Panel curtains or panel track blinds as they are also called give a very contemporary look. They look very modern. They use little fabric in comparison to curtains and are great for covering large windows. Why are they called "Panel curtains" They are called this because they are made of multiple flat pieces of fabric often lined as in these images. Hung from a track with several grooves so the panels can stack one in front of the other when pushed back into the open position. Take a look at a smaller window fitted the same way. In the image below you can see this window treatment again with a slim mini pelmet to cover the tracking. The tracking is fitted under a board supported on brackets. Then the mini pelmet is attached to the leading edge of the board with velcro tape (hook and loop tape)This time shown in the open position Click on image for larger picture
