A touch on the traditional
rod swags !
Rod swags are very simple but stylish, touching on the traditional. They can be made to look modern or very traditional just by your choice of fabrics and trims.
Very simple to fix up ! In the image below is a traditional style with a modern plain fabric. The curtains and swag have been made with an interlining to give this silk fabric body and a luxurious look. I think you will agree that they look great ! What if your hanging your swag from a metal rod ? Well with a metal rod you need to glue the velcro (hook and loop tape) to the back of the rod.

Want a more traditional shaped pelmet ?
In the image below you can see this window treatment again with a casual swag in a bay window. This time a long piece of fabric is wrapped several times round the rods and dressed into shape. A more traditional look but still very stylish. Click on image for larger picture.
