Roman shades for dormers.

I have three dormers - two in my living room (way up high) and one in my spare room. I was wondering if there was a way to put roman shades up and be able to open and close them - possibly some sort of long pole??

The best option is to install electric Battery operated roman shades. These are controlled by remote control.
