Should I hang curtains over my blinds

I have horizontal wooden slatted blinds in three windows in my kichen, would you hang curtains with those or would it take away from the blinds.

Sorry for the delay in replying been working away for a few days.

Right to the question you asked should you hang curtains over your kitchen blinds. Well my feeling is if over a sink then no.

If in a kitchen dining area then yes. They help to soften the look and add warmth to the look of the room. I would dress them well into tie backs then leave them. Just carry on using your blinds on a daily basis.

Ultimately it is a personal choice, curtains give a more dressed homely feel to a room. The other side of the coin is that in a very modern contemporary kitchen they can look a bit too fussy.
