A simple swag curtain can look great
in any home.
A swag curtain is very simple but stylish, leaning more on the traditional. They can be made to look modern or very traditional just by your choice of fabrics and trims.
Very simple to fix up ! In the image below is a traditional style with a patterned chenille fabric fabric. The curtains have been made with an interlining to give this fabric extra body and a luxurious look. I think you will agree that they look great ! What's the best way to hang them Well a simple 20cm X 1.8cm Piece of timber fixed to the wall on simple shelf brackets is best.
In the image to the right there is
a roman shade fitted in the recess. This is used daily and the
curtains are mostly for show. Also if you look closely you can see a small tassel fringe on the swags and the leading edges of the curtains. Click on image for larger picture
Same curtain style different situation !
In the image below you can see this window treatment again with the top treatment over a doorway. This time a single curtain is used to give good access to the door. A more traditional look but still very stylish. Click on image for larger picture.
