What design of curtains should I use?

by Mary Seymour
(Windsor Ontario,Canada)

Hi
I have two long windows with a space between them about 20". They are approx. 84" by 28" on my far wall in my living room. The wall they are on goes up to a vaulted ceiling.
I would like curtains but not really fancy, any ideas? I have taupe shade walls.
Thanks
Mary

Hi Mary

I'm assuming there is room to fit a decorative curtain rod over each window. Without the sloping ceiling interfering. So just fit 2 curtain rods over each window.

Make them 5 inches wider than the window each side. Then hang a single curtain on each. One to the left and one to the right. Then tie them back or use a hold back arm. You can dress the curtain back into a nice curve shape.

This keeps everything nice and simple but will dress these windows nicely.

Best regards

Lee
