What do you do with windows that have fancy trim/molding?
I have 3 windows in my newly remodeled living room. The trim/molding is decorative and have fancy corners.
The windows all match the door trim/molding. How do you/what do you do about window coverings? I don't want to hang curtains that cover the molding, but I am not sure what other options there are.
The windows need something, but I am not sure what would be the best. Help, please!

Hi Carrie
I would fit made to measure roman shades on your windows. I know exactly the kind of window trims you mean. I fit lots of roman shades on windows just like yours here in the UK. They are mostly old victorian houses, so it seems a shame to hide the mouldings around the windows.
You need to make the roman shades to fit inside the trim. so when the shades are down it looks like a picture that has been framed.
I know it will take a little light out of the room but I think the end result is worth it. you get the softness of using fabric but not covereing the entire window.
hope this idea appeals to you.
Best Regards
Lee
