What type of window treatment should I use?

On the back wall of my living room I have a wide picture window (8ft wide/4ft long) and about 40 inches away a sliding glass door (average size). They both start at the same height.
Therefore they are the same distance from the ceiling (about 15 inches); but the picture window is about 29 inches from the floor. How do I make both windows blend together.
Hi Donna
I think keep it simple just go for floor length curtains on both window. So fit a curtain rod at the same height on both windows.
Then hang your curtains to the floor. You could drape them back into tie backs if that appeals to you.
Then when your curtains are closed in the evening. They will very much the same, you won't know what depth either window is.
During the day you will see the shorter picture window. It will still look good that both window treatments are identical.
Best regards
