The rule of thumb for width is 21/2 times the width of the window. Your window is 1.2m wide so it is 1.2m x 2.5=6m (2 panels not less than 1.5m wide). However if using sheers then 3 to 4 times the window width, if using coarse fabric such as denim etc then 11/2 to 2 times the width would be ok.
