Hi,

my bedroom has 4 casement windows side by side measuring a total of 130" wide by 36" high. What options will I have for a window top treatment? Should they be considered as 2 sets? I have chosen McCalls 3561 .

Thanks for the photo it make my life a lot easier. right to your question. I see you have a rod fixed over your window.

So the simplest and cheapest option would be to hang a scarf swag from this or you could do 2 meeting in the middle. Creating the look of 2 windows side by side. You can simply buy a scarf swag or make one your self.

The other option is more involved but just as doable. This to make a fabric covered pelmet or cornice as you Americans say.

P.S. Not sure what McCalls 3561 is ? if you or someone else would like to enlighten me.

Length of tails

Hi Judith

Sorry for delay in getting back to you. To your question about the side tails being longer. My answer is yes especially on such a wide window. It will help to square the window more. You could make them down to the window sill. I have done this many times when fitting over blinds.
