Window treatment

I have a small house my dining room and living room are combined into one medium size room.

I have a medium size window over the sofa and one medium size window by the dining room table.

What type of window treatment should I use?

Before you pick something you need to consider the following points.

• your Decor.



• The style of your furnishings



• Your color scheme

So Steve the first point you decor is it modern or more traditional.

The same with your furnishings.

Then your color scheme is staying the same or going to change.

It's impossible to give you anymore advice with out seeing the room in question. The only thing I would say is that short curtains on the window over the sofa or a blind of some sort.

Also what ever you do on one window do on the other. The only thing you could do different is in the dining room hang long curtains if there is nothing underneath. Long curtains always dress the window better. After saying short curtains over the sofa. You could always pull the sofa out a few inches if room and have long curtains there as well.

Obviously you would not see them when drawn behind the sofa. You would see them either side when open. if your window is wider than the sofa.
